This is your chance to achieve your goals and lead an extraordinary career.Team / Division OverviewAs we expand our strategic footprint across Middle East & Africa (MEA); we are building a regional hub in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) to deepen relationships and deliver tailored investment solutions to regional institutional investors.X-trackers is one of the largest ETF providers in Europe, with a broad range of funds referencing equities, fixed income and commodities. The platform is part of the wider passive asset management platform at DWS, which manages in excess of EUR 300bn globally. The Passive Distribution team is responsible for raising assets in X-trackers ETFs and passive mandates, as well as servicing a global client base.In this role you ll be covering assets owners across the MEA region with the predominant focus selling Passive investment products such as Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) or Passive mandates solutions for institutional investors.This is also a high-impact, entrepreneurial role offering the opportunity to be part of a foundational team shaping DWS s presence in the MEA region.Role DetailsAs a Senior ETF Sales Specialist you will be responsible for:Act as a senior client-facing representative for DWS across the MEA region, with a base in Abu Dhabi.Leading direct client outreach in MEA markets to Passive stakeholders and allocators, with a focus on establishing client relationships and creating investment opportunities.Working with management to establish a specific sales strategy for the different client segment.Organising and participating in meetings and events with both existing and potential clientsPresenting the DWS Passive solutions suite, performances and characteristics of existing and yet-to-be-launched solutions, portfolio attributions and outlook to existing clients and prospectsDevelop and originate proactive investment ideasMonitor and assess competitive landscape and regulatory development in the MEA region.Developing strong productive relationships with internal distribution partners.Handling client requests whilst ensuring prompt and accurate responsesCoordinate with internal stakeholders for the preparation and delivery of client presentations, pitches, RFP and tailored investment proposalsWorking closely with teams such as Product, Capital Markets, Marketing, Index Research and Investment teams to convert sales opportunities into AUM flows.Remaining abreast of industry trends and themes and attending industry conferences/events on behalf of DWS.Enhancing clients and prospects conviction towards DWS by communicating pro-actively on topics relating to the specific local channelsWe are looking for:A strong background and experience in a financial services environment with a focus on investment sales across MEA, with a proven MEA client networkAbility to lead on relationships with strategic MEA investors base.Strong Passive product knowledge across a range of strategies including ETFsAn ambitious and highly driven professional who is able to set priorities and work under pressureStrong multi-tasking abilities and capability to keep both a big picture view on the business as well as a detail-minded approach to clients and prospectsWell-developed analytical and technical skillA self-starter with strong sales capabilities, as demonstrated by revenue figuresEducated to degree level, or with relevant work experienceWhat we ll offer you:At DWS we re serious about diversity, equity and creating an inclusive culture where colleagues can be themselves sand it s important to us that you enjoy coming to work - feeling healthy, happy and rewarded.
