Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead the design, verification, and deployment of FPGA-based systems for high-speed network control and data management.
Develop FPGA logic to interface with multiple network PHY modules for synchronized data transfer.
Implement communication and control interfaces between FPGAs and multi-CPU architectures for real-time operation.
Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams for full system integration.
Optimize FPGA designs for timing closure, resource utilization, and high-performance data processing.
Perform simulation, synthesis, and validation using Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim, etc.
Develop test benches and conduct on-board validation and hardware bring-up.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to system-level architectural decisions.
Create automation scripts and debugging tools supporting efficient FPGA deployment.
Work on 400G/800G network designs involving high-speed SerDes, PAM4, and signal integrity optimization.
Contribute to high-speed switching architecture development for data center platforms.
Support system-level integration of next-generation data center connectivity solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
10+ years of professional FPGA design and verification experience.
Strong proficiency in VHDL or Verilog/SystemVerilog for RTL development.
Expertise in high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, JESD, AXI, etc.
Hands-on experience with Xilinx, Intel (Altera), or Lattice FPGA platforms.
Deep understanding of timing constraints, clocking, and signal integrity.
Experience integrating FPGAs with CPUs or network processors.
Proficiency with hardware debugging tools (ILA, SignalTap, oscilloscopes, etc.).
Preferred Skills/strong> /p>
Experience with multi-FPGA or distributed control architectures.
Knowledge of network PHY layers and data center hardware topologies.
Proficiency in C/C++ or Python for embedded or automation tasks.
Understanding of schematic/PCB-level hardware design.
Strong communication, documentation, and cross-functional teamwork skills.
