Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the frontend development of payment-related features, ensuring seamless and secure user experiences.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable, and testable code for payment integrations using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to define and implement payment solutions.
  • Optimize frontend performance for payment flows, focusing on speed, security, and accessibility.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to payment processing, fraud detection, and transaction management.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices for payment-related development.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development and payment processing.
  • Implement and maintain robust unit and integration tests for all payment-related code.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant payment industry standards (PCI DSS, etc.) and security protocols.
  • Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the frontend payment systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar (preferred).
  • Demonstrates 5+ years of experience in frontend development with a strong focus on payments.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of payment gateway integrations (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Braintree).
  • Has proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, and at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Demonstrates experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
  • Shows strong understanding of secure coding practices and experience implementing security best practices.
  • Exhibits excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Is a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Has a passion for building exceptional user experiences and a keen eye for detail.
