Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Senior GL Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day accounting activities including GL, AP, AR, and fixed assets.
- Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports in accordance with IFRS.
- Monitor project costs and revenue related to software and mapping projects.
- Ensure accurate recording of intangible assets, software costs, and amortization.
- Support budget preparation, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with VAT and local tax regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 7+ years of relevant accounting experience (preferably in IT or software companies).
- Good knowledge of IFRS and VAT.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Team leadership and supervision skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
