Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role

We don't need someone who can use Canva and call themselves a designer.

We need a visual storyteller. A brand builder. Someone who can look at a blank canvas and see a finished campaign. Someone whose portfolio doesn't just show pretty pictures — it shows thinking, craft, intentionality, and range.

This is a role for a designer who has bled through deadlines, who knows the difference between design that looks good and design that performs, and who takes as much pride in a well-kerned label as they do in a full brand identity system.

You will be the sole creative engine of our visual output — owning everything from product packaging and brand identity to social media content, digital ads, and marketing collateral targeting audiences in the UK, Europe, and North America. This is not a role where you wait for direction. This is a role where you drive the visual direction of a growing international wellness brand.

If your work makes people stop scrolling, pick up a product, and trust a brand — you belong here.

What You'll Own:

Brand Identity & Visual Strategy:

  • Maintain, evolve, and fiercely protect the brand's visual identity across all touchpoints.

  • Develop brand guidelines, style systems, and design templates that ensure consistency across markets.

  • Bring a strategic design eye to every output — always asking: does this build the brand or dilute it?

Packaging & Print Design:

  • Design and refine product packaging for supplements and wellness products compliant with UK, EU, and US labelling regulations.

  • Produce print-ready artwork for labels, boxes, inserts, and leaflets with precision — bleed, crop marks, CMYK, the works.

  • Work closely with suppliers and printers to ensure the final physical product matches design intent.

Digital & Social Media Design:

  • Create scroll-stopping social media content (static, carousel, and story formats) for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

  • Design high-converting digital ad creatives for Meta, Google Display, and programmatic campaigns.

  • Build email marketing templates and landing page visuals that are both beautiful and built to convert.

Motion & Video:

  • Produce short-form motion graphics, animated ads, product reels, and branded video content.

  • Create animated social content using After Effects or equivalent tools.

Marketing Collateral:

  • Design brochures, catalogues, pitch decks, banners, trade show materials, and any marketing asset required by the business.

  • Support the Marketing Manager with creative assets for international market expansion campaigns.

Creative Process & Collaboration:

  • Take briefs from the marketing team and translate them into exceptional visual outcomes.

  • Deliver multiple creative concepts and present rationale behind design decisions — not just options, but thinking.

  • Manage your own workflow, timelines, and file organisation with zero hand-holding required.

The Portfolio We Need to See

Your portfolio is your interview. Before we read a single word of your CV, we will judge your portfolio. And here is exactly what we are looking for:

We want to see tool-specific, context-specific work — not a generic collection of pretty things. We want to see what tool you used and why, demonstrated through the work itself.

Your portfolio must include, at minimum:

  • ✅ At least one full product packaging project (label + box or pouch).

  • ✅ At least one brand identity project (logo, colour system, typography, usage).

  • ✅ At least one digital advertising campaign (multiple formats/sizes).

  • ✅ At least one print-ready multi-page document (brochure, catalogue, or brand book).

  • ✅ At least one motion/animated piece.

Portfolios that are exclusively social media posts will not be considered. Portfolios without packaging or print work will not be considered.

On AI — Let's Be Transparent

We are not anti-AI. We are anti-deception.

We actively encourage the use of AI tools as part of a legitimate creative workflow:

What we will not tolerate:

  • ❌ Submitting AI-generated images as original design work,

  • ❌ Portfolios that are predominantly AI-generated with minimal human craft,

  • ❌ Using AI to replace skill you don't actually have.

Desired Candidate Profile

What We're Looking For:

Education

  • Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related creative field — from a recognised institution (required).

  • Additional certifications in Adobe tools, motion design, or 3D — a strong plus.

Experience

  • 5–8 years of professional graphic design experience.

  • Proven experience designing for international markets, particularly the UK, Europe, or America.

  • Experience working in-house for a brand (not just agency background) — preferred.

Technical Skills — Non-Negotiable

  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Lightroom.

  • Solid understanding of print production: colour modes (CMYK vs RGB), bleed, resolution, pre-press requirements.

  • Understanding of digital ad specifications across Meta, Google, and TikTok platforms.

  • Working knowledge of AI-assisted design tools (used ethically and transparently).

  • Proficiency in 3D design tools (Blender, Cinema 4D, or KeyShot) is a major advantage.

The Designer We're Hunting For

  • You obsess over details others don't notice — the kerning, the colour temperature, the weight of a divider line.

  • You don't just execute briefs — you elevate them.

  • You understand that great design in wellness = trust, clarity, and aspiration — and you know how to balance all three.

  • You can work independently at pace without daily direction.

  • You have an opinion about design and can defend it — but you're not precious; you know when to adapt.

  • You understand that design is in service of the business — beautiful and effective, never beautiful at the expense of effective.

  • You are relentlessly curious — you follow design trends, study great brands, and are always learning.

What We Offer:

  • Salary up to AED 10,000/month — based on experience and portfolio strength.

  • The creative freedom to build a brand from a growing, ambitious platform.

  • Direct collaboration with senior marketing leadership — your voice will be heard.

  • A fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where great work is noticed and rewarded.

  • Medical insurance as per UAE law.

  • Annual leave as per UAE Labour Law.
