Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior HSE Engineer for our civil construction projects in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of Saudi Labour Law, civil defense regulations, and international HSE standards, along with excellent communication skills in English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement HSE policies and procedures in compliance with Saudi regulations.
- Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Labour Law, civil defense requirements, and global HSE best practices.
- Deliver safety inductions, training sessions, and toolbox talks to employees.
- Maintain all safety records, permits, and documentation.
- Support emergency preparedness, including fire safety drills and first aid readiness.
- Promote a proactive safety culture across project sites.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field (preferred).
Preferred Certifications:
- NEBOSH IGC
- Fire Safety & First Aid (Dubai Civil Defence approved)
- NVQ Level 6 / OTHM Level 6–7 / EduQual Level 7 Diploma in OHS
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
- IOSH Managing Safely (advantage)
- Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership is an advantage.
