Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


We are seeking an experienced Senior Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in the design, detailed engineering, and execution of liquid and gas custody transfer metering systems for oil & gas EPC projects. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from FEED to detailed design, procurement support, construction, and commissioning.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead detailed instrumentation and electrical engineering for custody transfer metering packages

  • Select, specify, and review flow, pressure, temperature, and level instruments

  • Perform instrument sizing calculations in accordance with international standards

  • Develop and review:

    - P&IDs o Instrument hook-up drawings

    -Loop diagrams

    -System layouts

    -Prepare and review:

    - Instrument data sheets

    -Specification sheets

    -Technical requisitions

    -Generate MTO/BOM and support cost estimation for E&I scope


  • Prepare and review Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and related documents

  • Review vendor documentation and ensure compliance with project and client specifications

  • Coordinate with process, mechanical, electrical, control, and project teams

  • Provide technical support during FAT, SAT, and commissioning

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline

  • 10+ years of experience in instrumentation and electrical engineering within oil & gas EPC projects

  • Proven experience in liquid and gas custody transfer metering systems

  • Strong exposure to Middle East oil & gas operators (ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, KOC, PDO, or equivalent)

  • Hands-on experience with flow meters:

    -Coriolis

    -Ultrasonic

    -Turbine

    -Positive Displacement

    -Solid experience with pressure, temperature, and level instrumentation

  • Strong knowledge of API, AGA, ISO, IEC standards

  • Experience in hazardous area classification and protection methods

  • Ability to mentor junior engineers and review their work
