Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in overseeing design projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Work closely with the design team throughout all project phases, from concept development to final execution.
  • Ensure projects adhere to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Meet with clients to discuss their needs, ideas, and preferences.
  • Develop interior design concepts tailored to the client's vision and budget.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, including mood boards and 3D visualizations, for client approval.
  • Source and select furniture, materials, décor, and finishes that align with design goals and budget constraints.
  • Work with local and international suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Create detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for client approval.
  • Review and verify shop drawings before submission for production.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers to ensure high-quality production and timely delivery.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to monitor project progress and provide recommendations.
  • Ensure seamless execution of design elements in line with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Address any design or construction challenges promptly to maintain project integrity.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information.
  • To perform other related work

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 8 years of professional design experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role overseeing design teams.
  • Proven experience in the Arabic-speaking market, with an understanding of cultural nuances and design preferences.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, with excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts and strategies clearly.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating creativity, innovation, and strategic thinking.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve high-quality design results.
  • A keen eye for detail, coupled with the ability to think critically and make data-informed design decisions.
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability, with the ability to navigate diverse team dynamics and client expectations.
