With significant inventory investments and strategic expansion plans across the region, they seek an experienced operations professional to lead their Kenya warehouse and inventory management functions. The Role Our client is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller & Operations Lead to relocate from Dubai to Nairobi and assume comprehensive responsibility for luxury inventory operations. This position reports directly to Dubai-based ownership and encompasses all aspects of warehouse management, inventory control, and operational excellence. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who will serve as the primary custodian of high-value merchandise and ensure seamless coordination between Dubai headquarters and Nairobi operations. The successful candidate will have substantial autonomy in implementing best-in-class inventory management practices. Key Responsibilities Oversee comprehensive inventory management and control systems for luxury watches and fashion merchandise Implement and optimize RFID tracking technology to maintain real-time inventory visibility and accuracy Execute rigorous daily operational protocols, including security procedures, cycle counts, and quality assurance Coordinate with retail operations to ensure efficient stock movement and fulfillment processes Deliver structured reporting and communications to Dubai management through established channels Manage relationships with regulatory authorities, customs officials, and logistics partners Supervise all inbound and outbound logistics for premium merchandise Collaborate with finance teams on inventory valuation, reconciliation, and period-end procedures Serve as the management representative for all inventory and warehouse decisions Maintain compliance standards for luxury goods handling, storage, and documentation What We're Looking For Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in luxury retail operations or high-value inventory management Demonstrated expertise in warehouse management systems and RFID technology Strong background in luxury retail operations, preferably within the Dubai market Proven track record of maintaining exceptional inventory accuracy and loss prevention Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and cloud-based reporting platforms Experience managing cross-border logistics and customs procedures Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Professional certifications in supply chain management (CSCP, CPIM) considered an advantage Availability to relocate to Nairobi with provided relocation support Must meet bonding and insurance requirements for inventory management positions What Our Client Offers Competitive compensation package: AED 6,000-8,000 monthly Note: Compensation is structured considering Nairobi's cost of living, which offers significantly higher purchasing power than Dubai.
