Roles & Responsibilities

The Senior Learning Experience Specialist is responsible for crafting engaging, effective, and learner-centered digital and classroom learning solutions. This role combines instructional design, facilitation, and digital learning creation, working closely with stakeholders to analyze needs, design curricula and content, deliver learning, and continuously improve based on feedback and data.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Skills-Based Needs Assessments: analyze current and future workforce skills, performance data, and learner profiles to identify capability gaps and design targeted, relevant learning experiences.
  • Design curricula and educational content: structure learning journeys, modules, courses, both instructor-led/blended and fully digital.
  • Create digital learning assets using authoring tools (e.g. e-learning modules, interactive multimedia, simulations, videos & AI).
  • Learning Experience Management: manage and optimize the end-to-end learner journey within the LMS/LXP/AI, ensuring smooth navigation, accessibility, and engagement.
  • Facilitate learning sessions (online, virtual-classroom, or in-person) where required, including guiding workshops or webinars.
  • Develop assessment tools and evaluation strategies to measure learning outcomes, effectiveness, and satisfaction (assessments, projects, feedback forms, etc.).
  • Integrate technology: make effective use of LinkedIn Learning, LMS/LXP/AI platforms, multimedia, interactive design elements, mobile learning, and other relevant edtech tools.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, graphic designers, and other team members to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with business/learning goals.
  • Incorporate feedback and iterate after delivery, gather learner feedback, analyze performance data, and refine content and delivery accordingly.
  • Ensure accessibility, usability, and learner engagement in all learning materials.
  • Stay current with learning trends, tools, methodologies, and best practices; propose and pilot AI-led learning innovations.

Accountabilities:

  • Resource Allocation Efficiency: Optimize the use of internal and external resources (designers, tech tools) to minimize costs while maximizing impact.
  • Vendor/Tool Cost Oversight: Evaluate and manage expenditures on authoring tools, LMS/LXP subscriptions, multimedia services, and external content providers.
  • Evidence of improved business outcomes and measurable ROI from learning initiatives (e.g., productivity gains, faster onboarding, improved performance metrics).
  • Design and Delivery Excellence: Creates engaging and effective digital, blended, and facilitated learning programs that align with business goals and meet workforce needs through strong collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Impactful Assessment and Continuous Improvement: Uses evaluation strategies and learner data to drive measurable improvements in workforce skills, performance, and capability.
  • Effective Technology Adoption: Ensures smooth implementation and high adoption of LMS, LXP, AI platforms, and multimedia learning tools, with measurable increases in usage, completion, and learner engagement.
  • Innovation and Technology-Driven Solutions: Successfully pilots and deploys AI-enabled or other innovative learning solutions, improving programs based on feedback, analytics, and industry best practices.
  • High Learner Engagement and Satisfaction: Achieves strong learner satisfaction and engagement scores, with positive feedback on accessibility, usability, and relevance of learning programs.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education Technology, Human Resources, or related field (master s preferred).
  • Technical Certifications relevant to L&D (e.g., CIPD, APTD, or CPTD)
  • Certification in instructional design, e-learning development, or learning technologies (e.g., APTD, or CPTD)
