Senior LNG Process Optimization Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate process design, including PFDs, P&IDs, heat and mass balances, and vendor packages.
• Participate in safety reviews such as HAZOP, PHA, SIL and LOPA.
• Support development of operating procedures, training manuals, and operator training simulator (OTS).
• Participate in 3D model reviews ensuring safe layout, accessibility, and operability.
• Contribute to commissioning and start up plans, including pre commissioning and dynamic commissioning.
• Ensure the design supports long-term operability, safety, and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership to solve process upsets and plant performance issues.
• Optimize LNG plant efficiency, reliability, and energy performance.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.
• Support control system optimization including APC, PID tuning, and alarm management.
• Identify and lead improvement projects for safety, production, and cost reduction.
• Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement across the operations team.
• Act as a process safety leader and ensure strict adherence to QHSE standards.
• Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure integrity of process systems and safe operating envelopes.
