Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key accountabilities:
- File Conversion & Preparation Support: Assist project managers with technical tasks such as file conversion, preparation, and word count analysis to optimize workflows for linguists.
- File Quality Assurance: Perform thorough post-translation quality checks to ensure deliverables meet client standards before submission.
- CAT Tool Support: Provide technical assistance to colleagues experiencing challenges with CAT tools and related software.
- Team Mentorship & Onboarding: Support team members and monitor the progress of new hires to ensure smooth integration into their roles.
- Collaboration with IT: Partner with the IT department to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting CAT tool performance.
- Training Material Development: Create instructional resources and documentation as requested by project managers to support team learning.
- Workflow Automation: Design and implement automation tools and scripts to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort.
- Custom Script Development: Build tailored scripts and automation solutions in response to specific project requirements.
- New Hire Training: Lead scheduled training sessions to onboard and upskill new team members.

Desired Candidate Profile
Must have professional qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- + 4 Years of experience.
- Strong expertise in software development, internationalization, and localization.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Extensive experience with localization tools, CAT tools, version control, Automation & Mobile localization & Web localization, and management systems.
- Deep understanding of web technologies, APIs, and content management systems (CMS).
- ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies; fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
