Job Description:

Freight Rate Management

Collect and consolidate monthly freight rates from approved shipping lines and freight forwarders.

Prepare comparative rate sheets and submit them for validation and approval by Sales Team and Top Management.

Maintain an updated database of approved freight rates by destination, carrier, and service type.

Booking & Shipment Coordination

Book containers and shipping space based on the approved lowest competitive rates while meeting customer delivery requirements.

Monitor vessel schedules and proactively manage changes, rollovers, or space constraints.

Customer Communication & Documentation

Submit all pre and post shipment information to customers, including booking confirmations, vessel details, ETD/ETA, and shipping plans.

Act as the main operational contact point for export customers regarding shipping status and documentation.

Export Planning & Tracking

Update and maintain the monthly export tracking report, covering bookings, shipped volumes, pending orders, and variances versus plan.

Customer Meetings & Continuous Improvement

Attend weekly coordination meetings with key customers to review upcoming needs, shipment performance, and service issues.

Aware of ERP System (SAP S4/HANA) & Microsoft Office

Must have previous experience in dealing with shipping lines and free zones

Preferred to be working in industrial fields
