Roles & Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Manager - People and Organization is responsible for overseeing the Human resoureces functions for the Retail. The role holder is also responsible for maintaining consistency of policies across all assigned Hypermarkets.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Advise and assist hypermarket management and staff for all matters relating to processes to ensure strict compliance
  • Maintain close links between local business units and support function management and staff with the appropriate central P&O function to ensure consistency of the application and implementation of corporate programs, policies and procedures
  • Source required Internally through consultation with Talent Management Team, and externally in coordination with Talent Acquisition Team through recruitment databases or campaigns
  • Oversee activities related to personnel (certificates, staff attendance and absences, medical insurance, vacations) and ensure correct documentation.
  • Ensure the payroll team provides hypermarket staff with the correct remuneration and benefits
  • Identify training needs and coordinate with the HC department to ensure facilitation of training requirements
  • Create and implement strategic budget planning and forecasting processes for all Hypermarket Business unites, ensuring alignment with organizational financial objectives.
  • Provide inputs while developing MAF Retail s corporate policies and relevant procedures, and monitor the implementation

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration or HR.
  • Time Management

Desired Candidate Profile

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration or HR.
  • Professional HR Certification such as CIPR, SHRM, AHARI is preferred
  • 7+ years in HC operations with 3+ years of experience in retail
  • Time Management
