Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement quality policies, processes, and KPIs across the Retail Discount business
- Develop and enforce product quality standards for fresh, ambient, and non-food categories
- Monitor supplier compliance through audits, inspections, and performance scorecards
- Ensure pricing, labeling, packaging, and promotional activities meet regulatory and internal standards
- Review store and warehouse processes including cold chain integrity, handling, shelf-life monitoring, and markdown practices
- Track, investigate, and resolve customer complaints related to quality, pricing, and stock discrepancies
- Lead root cause analysis for quality incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Drive quality awareness, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare and present quality dashboards and governance reports to senior leadership
Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Food Science, or Quality Management
- Professional certifications such as ISO, Six Sigma, HACCP, or Lean are preferred
- 7 to 10 years of experience in quality management, commercial governance, or retail operations
- Prior exposure to FMCG, Retail Discount, or value retail environments is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities
