Roles & Responsibilities

Mandatory / Preferred Certifications

  • CCNA (Routing & Switching)

  • CCNP (Enterprise / Switching / Routing)

  • CCNA Security (or equivalent)

  • Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate

  • Fortinet Certified (FCF / FCA)

  • Extreme Networks Certifications:

    • ENA (Extreme Networks Associate)

    • ECE (Extreme Certified Expert)

    • Extreme Wireless Cloud

    • Extreme Management Center

Desired Candidate Profile

Core Technical Skills

  • LAN / WAN / Cloud network architecture and design

  • Deep knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, DHCP, UDP, OSPF, RIP, BGP, VLANs, STP

  • Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and management of network switches and connectivity

  • Hands-on experience with multi-vendor environments:

    • Extreme (Summit, Black Diamond)

    • Huawei (S, CE switches, AR routers)

    • HPE / HP switches

    • Cisco (Catalyst, SG series, routers)

    • Juniper & Dell switches

  • Wireless solutions: Extreme, Huawei, HPE

  • Experience with VPNs, routers, switches, servers, and network infrastructure

  • Cloud networking, virtualization, and automation concepts

  • Network monitoring & management tools: Huawei eSight, SolarWinds, PRTG, MRTG

  • Network documentation and design tools: MS Visio, Packet Tracer

  • Experience with InfoBlox NetMRI for network visibility and risk reduction
