Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Location: GCC., GCC.
Qualification:
- 8 years of experience in similar roles in large companies, of which at least 3 years are in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
- Good understanding of power/energy and water sectors, emerging trends and technologies.
- Proficiency in English (must) and Arabic (plus).
- Demonstrated hands-on operational and implementation experience.
- Ability to work with key stakeholders, senior executives, management team and external partners/advisors through collaboration & teamwork.
- Good communication and presentation skills.

Enhance the operational efficiency and effectiveness of RAF Power and Water stations through effective data management, performance analysis and reporting, ensuring optimal productivity and resource utilization
- Record and regularly update the operational status and availability of all RAF Power and Water stations.
- Maintain comprehensive databases tracking daily generation, power output, fuel consumption, water production and distribution and other critical metrics.
- Prepare daily performance sheets for all stations, highlighting key operational metrics and trends.
- Collect and analyse data from the historian raw database weekly and monthly to generate detailed performance analysis reports, submitting these to the Head of Maintenance Planning.
- Gather monthly data on chemical usage, maintenance activities (defects, permits, PMS), and store management (automatic and manual purchase requests). Prepare and deliver comparative monthly analysis reports to management.
- Compile reports on critical daily defects and operational activities, ensuring prompt communication with management to facilitate decision-making.
- Confirm and report on the daily and monthly availability of RAF-A3, ensuring all data aligns with operational benchmarks.
- Collaborate with the Finance department to generate monthly EBS invoices for RAF-A2 and RAF-A3.
Prepare off-line invoices for RAF-B1 using data extracted from the Optimax system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial protocols.
- Organise and supervise the work of the assigned team to ensure that all work within a specific area of the activity is carried out in an efficient manner, which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.
Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to assigned team to support their overall development
- The role operates within a dynamic corporate environment where key decisions significantly impact the Operations & Maintenance division. Such decisions require consultation with and approval from the direct Line Manager before implementation.
- Operates under the mandates authorized by the responsible Line Manager, ensuring all functional and operational activities are managed with high standards of quality and reporting, thus upholding accountability and transparency.
- Participates in execution of the Operations & Maintenance division comprehensive business and operational strategy. Responsible for contributing to meeting business and operational goals within functional area.
Provides the leadership team with insightful information and data with regards to handled functional areas.
