Senior Piping & Welding Inspector APAVE Gulf (LLC)

Job Description-

• Attend all intervention points as per approved ITP and RFI issued during fabrication and erection of Piping.

• Awareness about ASME B 31.3

• Experience of Qualification of PQR’s and awareness of all DT & NDT testing requirements

• Review MTCs, certifications, Traceability, and project QA/QC documentation

• Verify all Quality activities before, during and after Welding

• Issue/Review/Approve/Close of Punchlist

• Attend PIM (Positive Material Identification) test, as applicable

• Attend Quality Walk

• Review test packs and approve for hydrotest

• Welding inspection for CS, CRA, SS, DSS etc.

Experience-

• Minimum 10 years of fabrication experience for offshore topside.

• AWS/CSWIP – 3.1 (Mandatory) or (CSWIP 3.2 – Preferred)

• ASNT/PCN/ISO – Level II in RT, MT, UT, PT

• Familiarity with material standards (ASTM, ASME, ISO, etc.) and QA/QC procedures

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualification-

Bachelor or Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent)
