Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are hiring an experienced Senior Planning Engineer for road and infrastructure project in Qatar.
Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, timelines, and milestones for road and infrastructure projects.
Track project progress and identify potential delays or issues.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.
Perform risk assessment, resource planning, and mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with client requirements, project standards, and regulatory approvals (including PWA).
Liaise with stakeholders and consultants for project approvals and updates.
Mentor and guide junior planning engineers and project staff as required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Related Engineering field.
Experience: Minimum 20 years overall experience, with at least 10 years as Planning Engineer.
Certifications: Valid MME / UPDA certificate; PWA approval mandatory.
Professional Experience: Must have consultancy experience, preferably with large-scale road and infrastructure projects.
Skills & Tools: Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, project controls, reporting, and scheduling.
Other Requirements: Overseas candidates with valid QID and ATM approval are welcome.
