Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are hiring an experienced Senior Planning Engineer for road and infrastructure project in Qatar.


  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, timelines, and milestones for road and infrastructure projects.

  • Track project progress and identify potential delays or issues.

  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.

  • Perform risk assessment, resource planning, and mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, project standards, and regulatory approvals (including PWA).

  • Liaise with stakeholders and consultants for project approvals and updates.

  • Mentor and guide junior planning engineers and project staff as required.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Related Engineering field.

  • Experience: Minimum 20 years overall experience, with at least 10 years as Planning Engineer.

  • Certifications: Valid MME / UPDA certificate; PWA approval mandatory.

  • Professional Experience: Must have consultancy experience, preferably with large-scale road and infrastructure projects.

  • Skills & Tools: Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, project controls, reporting, and scheduling.

  • Other Requirements: Overseas candidates with valid QID and ATM approval are welcome.
