Senior Preservation & Materials Inspector APAVE Gulf (LLC)

Job Description

• Inspect and verify incoming Structural, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Package, Bulk materials, Paint, Welding consumables. Etc. as per Project specs and industry standards.

• Ensure compliance with MTCs, certifications, Traceability, and project QA/QC documentation

• Attend joint inspection with Yard team for incoming material inspection

• Coordinate with QA/QC and warehouse teams for proper storage and traceability

• Report OS & D (Overage, Shortage and Damage), if any.

• Ensure that Quality dossier/Dispatch dossier/Final documentation (MRB – Manufacturers Record Book) is available for the received items.

• Check availability of Inspection Release Note (IRN), MRB & Packing list

• Verify accurate records in material tracking systems (e.g., MTO, MRN, Inventory Logs)

• Coordinate with Procurement, Construction, and Logistics for timely availability of materials

• Issue/Review/Approve/Close of Punchlist

• Attend PIM (Positive Material Identification) test, as applicable

• Surveillance for material storage and Preservation compliance

• Ensure that Vendor’s preservation procedure, guideline, IOM (Installation & Operating Manual) is available and approved.

• Ensure oversight of Contractor Preservation Plan implementation for all equipment categories

• Attendance to Preservation Routine Surveillance / walkdown

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of offshore experience in material inspection or coordination.

• Familiarity with material standards (ASTM, ASME, ISO, etc.) and QA/QC procedures.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualification

Bachelor or Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent)
