Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic sourcing process to identify and engage suppliers that align with project specifications and budget constraints, ensuring optimal value.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that enhance efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier capabilities, enabling informed decision-making.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, focusing on favorable terms, quality assurance, and delivery timelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred for advanced strategic insight.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in procurement, with a focus on engineering projects in the manufacturing or construction sectors.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) are highly regarded.
- Experience in international procurement and understanding of global supply chain dynamics, particularly in the relevant industry.
