Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Product Owner to lead a cross-functional agile team responsible for delivering innovative DeFi solutions. You will work within an agile program structure, aligning team efforts with strategic business goals while driving roadmap execution and user-centric development in your agile team.

Key responsibilities

Own delivery outcomes for products, domains, or major initiatives
Translate product vision and strategy into executable priorities and backlogs
Balance short-term delivery needs with medium-term product goals
Ensure delivery focuses on measurable business and user outcomesBacklog Ownership & Prioritisation
Own and prioritise backlogs across multiple teams or initiatives
Break down strategic goals into clear, actionable backlog items
Make high-impact prioritisation decisions based on value, risk, and effort
Continuously refine priorities based on delivery feedback and learningsCollaboration with Product Managers
Partner closely with Product Managers to execute product vision and strategy
Provide delivery insights and feasibility feedback to inform strategic decisions
Ensure dependencies, risks, and constraints are transparent
Align execution plans with long-term product directionStakeholder & Cross-Team Alignment
Align engineering, design, and delivery teams around shared priorities
Act as primary execution-focused product contact for stakeholders
Communicate delivery progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly
Facilitate decision-making in complex or ambiguous situationsProduct Leadership & People Responsibility
Mentor and support Product Owners in their professional development
Set standards for strong product execution and backlog management
Support performance management and growth conversations where applicable
Contribute to improving product delivery maturity across the organization

Job requirements

5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in agile environments.
Deep knowledge of DeFi, blockchain protocols, and smart contract technology.
Excellent communication skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong understanding of agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, SEMAIL_ADDRESS, etc.).
Strategic thinker with the ability to align short-term execution with long-term vision.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve dependencies effectively.
Collaborative and proactive, fostering a culture of shared understanding within teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in agile environments.

Deep knowledge of DeFi, blockchain protocols, and smart contract technology.

Proven track record of delivering high-impact, user-driven products in a fast-paced startup environment.

Excellent communication skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong understanding of agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, SEMAIL_ADDRESS, etc.).

Familiarity with Web3 development tools (e.g., Solidity, EVM-based chains, smart contract auditing, dApp UX/UI considerations) is a plus.

Familiarity with tools (JIRA, Confluence, Figma, etc.).

Strategic thinker with the ability to align short-term execution with long-term vision.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve dependencies effectively.
