Senior QA Analyst

We are seeking a proactive QA Analyst and Release Manager with strong documentation and organizational skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in software testing and/or release management, with a proven track record of working on mobile applications, web portals, kiosks, and internal business applications.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining comprehensive test plans, coordinating release activities, and ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the software development lifecycle. The role requires daily use of AI tools to enhance testing efficiency and release processes. The successful candidate will demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset, actively seeking opportunities to optimize and streamline our workflows.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in software testing and/or release management

• Experience testing across mobile applications, web portals, kiosks, and internal business applications

• Exceptional documentation and organizational abilities (test plans, test cases, release notes, runbooks)

• Daily use of AI tools to improve testing efficiency, analysis, and release processes

• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement

• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities with product, engineering, and business stakeholders

• Required: Jira and Azure DevOps (work item tracking, test execution tracking, dashboards, release pipelines)

• Test management & documentation tools (e.g., Zephyr, Xray, TestRail, Confluence/SharePoint)

• Automation & CI/CD exposure (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium; Git; Azure Pipelines/Jenkins)

• Tools for test execution, reporting, and observability (e.g., Postman, Charles/Fiddler, BrowserStack, Firebase, Application Insights/Splunk)

Tools & Applications (Mainstream)

• Work tracking & release planning: Jira, Azure DevOps Boards, ServiceNow (where applicable)

• Test management: Azure DevOps Test Plans, Zephyr, Xray, TestRail

• Test automation: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress (web); Appium (mobile); REST Assured (API)

• API testing: Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI tools

• CI/CD & version control: Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins; Git

• Cross-browser/device testing: BrowserStack, Sauce Labs

• Performance & reliability: JMeter, k6, Gatling

• Mobile analytics & crash reporting: Firebase Crashlytics, App Center

• Documentation & collaboration: Confluence, SharePoint, MS Teams
