Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Katalon Studio for Web, API, and Mobile applications.
  • Integrate and manage automation test suites within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform load and performance testing using tools such as JMeter, Katalon Performance Plugins, or similar solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable automation frameworks (data-driven, keyword-driven, and hybrid models).
  • Conduct functional, regression, smoke, integration, and UAT testing to ensure high software quality standards.
  • Validate APIs using Postman and RESTful service testing methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with Development, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Utilize Azure Boards, Git, and test management tools for effective planning, tracking, and execution of testing activities.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide detailed debugging support.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to building strong QA capabilities within the team.
  • Prepare clear, structured documentation including test cases, reports, and performance results.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Katalon Studio (Web, API, and Mobile automation).
  • Strong experience integrating automated testing frameworks with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven experience in load and performance testing.
  • Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter and Katalon Performance Plugins.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and established QA best practices and methodologies.
  • Strong experience in API testing using Postman and RESTful services.
  • Proficient in Azure Boards, Git, and test management platforms.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
