Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the quantity surveying process for projects, ensuring accurate assessment of quantities and material costs.
  • Review and validate cost estimates for materials, labor, and overheads, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and project management teams to gather necessary data for cost estimation.
  • Oversee and mentor junior quantity surveyors, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion of their work.
  • Prepare final cost reports and support the Estimation Manager in presenting estimates to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure timely submission of all quantity surveys and cost estimates, with a focus on accuracy and process improvements.
  • Contribute to process improvements to reduce estimation timelines and enhance efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in large-scale projects.
  • Strong proficiency in quantity surveying and estimation software/tools.
  • Proven track record in cost estimation, cost control, and project specifications compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
