Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Role Overview:
Lead and mentor the Social Media Specialist, providing guidance on content, messaging, and priorities.
Develop and oversee the overall social media strategy aligned with company and product goals.
Approve and review all social content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with fintech regulations.
Monitor social performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports with insights for leadership.
Manage social listening, monitor brand sentiment, and ensure appropriate responses to customer inquiries.
Support crisis communication efforts and ensure sensitive issues are escalated and managed appropriately.
Identify new trends, opportunities, and best practices to keep the brand competitive and innovative.
Manage paid social budgets where relevant, focusing on lead generation and brand lift.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 6 years of social media experience, with at least 1 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or a similarly regulated industry is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team and provide strategic direction.
- Strong understanding of fintech concepts (digital banking, payments, personal finance tech, AI-driven finance, crypto, etc.).
- Excellent copywriting, editing, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with compliance standards in financial marketing.
- Proficiency with social analytics tools and social media management platforms.
