Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible to plan, organize and supervise mechanical work activities including overhauling and calibration of equipment onboard and in workshop to meet the set milestones in order to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Day-to-day operations:
Develop, interpret and follow method statements and procedures in addition to understanding specifications, drawings and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
Co-ordinate work progress with SRM, superintendent, other trades with own department.
Liaise with invoicers / estimators to ensure that department and commercial targets are synchronized and met.
Develop detailed completion program with manpower loading.
Identifying and act upon opportunities for improvement to work & safety related matters.
Participate in accident investigation, root cause analysis and provide assistance in preparing reports.
Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for Mechanical Department / Section to ensure compliance with the established standard and procedures.
Participate in improvement efforts to enhance safety, productivity and quality of the department.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or diploma of a related field is required.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the oil and gas or manufacturing industry.
