Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The resource will play an active role in providing technical support that directs the support of Oracle EBS 12.2.8. The key responsibilities include:

  • Document code consistently throughout the development and/or enhancement process.
  • Maintain extensive documentation for the project.
  • Design solutions based upon business requirements and user specification.
  • Review technical solutions.
  • Participate in peer code/design reviews to ensure the delivery of quality solutions.
  • Interface at an intermediate level with Business User during the design, development and testing processes.
  • Review, fix, enhance and develop code.
  • Provide production support as and when required.
  • The incumbent will undertake any such related duties or responsibilities as directed.
  • Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard any sensitive information.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Overall experience of 8 years of post-qualification experience on Oracle EBS R12
  • Experience in translating Functional specifications into technical requirements.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow and SOA Suite/Fusion
  • Must be proficient in creating FSG, XML and Discoverer reports. Forms, OAF pages, alerts and workflow development and maintenance
  • Must be highly conversant with PLSQL and must be able to develop scripts and queries on an ad hoc and regular term basis.
  • Expert in Forms Personalization and OAF development and customization
  • Should have hands-on experience in Data Conversion, Data Migration, Report Generation and Developing Interfaces within several modules in Oracle Applications.
  • Proficient in development of interfaces and conversion programs to integrate Oracle Applications modules to import data from various sources into Oracle Applications
  • Should be expert in developing technical design documents (MD070), Technical Test documents (TE020), Conversion (CV050) and Migration documents (MD0120).
  • Strong in Performance Tuning
