Senior Vice President, Trade Distribution Transactor

The Trade Distribution team looks after the syndication, distribution, and wider risk defeasance activities within Citi s world class Trade franchise.

Key responsibilities of the team include:

• Developing and structuring defeasance solutions that support the growth of the wider Trade business across a range of products and geographies
• Smooth execution of day-to-day sales to support origination activities and compliance with other metrics such as credit limits, Risk Weighted Asset targets, return metrics etc.
• Engagement and relationship building with external investors and partners
• Work with colleagues in Risk, Legal, Compliance and other departments to establish the frameworks and ensure the activities of the desk operate within Citi s robust Risk and Control environment
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

What you ll do:

• Conduct market reads for specific deals and markets and ensure appropriate sharing of market intelligence and reverse origination opportunities
• Support the end-to-end execution of trades across asset classes and distribution/defeasance tools
• Assist senior colleagues with investor engagement and relationship building
• Understand and execute against the Global Product Programs and the Local Country Addenda in country where these structured and complex Trade transactions are occurring
