Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Operational Management • Plan, organise, and supervise all service centre activities, including EV diagnostics, repairs, battery maintenance, and software updates. • Manage service schedules, prioritise workloads, and ensure timely vehicle delivery. • Monitor workshop productivity, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols. • Coordinate with suppliers, OEMs, and spare parts vendors to ensure availability of genuine parts and tools.

Team Leadership • Lead and motivate a team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff. • Conduct regular training on EV systems, high-voltage safety, and diagnostic tools. • Set performance goals and conduct staff evaluations. Customer Service • Ensure an exceptional customer experience through efficient service operations and clear communication. • Handle escalated customer concerns and maintain high satisfaction ratings. • Develop and implement customer service policies and feedback mechanisms.

Financial & Administrative • Manage the service centre budget, monitor expenses, and achieve profitability targets. • Prepare operational and performance reports for management review. • Ensure compliance with company policies, environmental standards, and industry regulations.

  • Manage the service centre's marketing.

Technical & Compliance

• Oversee adherence to EV-specific safety procedures, especially in high-voltage and battery handling.

• Stay updated with the latest EV technologies, tools, and diagnostic software. • Implement sustainable and environmentally responsible service practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. o Master’s degree or business management qualification is a plus. • Experience: o Minimum 3-5 years of managerial experience in the automotive industry. o Experience in electric or hybrid vehicle systems preferred. • Certifications: o EV Maintenance / High-Voltage Safety Certification preferred. • Skills: o Strong leadership and communication skills. o In-depth understanding of EV systems, diagnostics, and charging infrastructure. o Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities. o Customer-centric mindset with a focus on quality and safety.
