Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and maintain hotel engineering systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and water treatment systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms and hotel departments.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as per the maintenance schedule.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing faults during the shift.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations at all times.
- Record all maintenance activities, breakdowns, and corrective actions in the logbook/system.
- Coordinate with other engineering team members to ensure smooth shift handover.
- Supervise technicians and contractors on duty when required.
- Report major issues, safety hazards, or equipment failures to the Chief Engineer immediately.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and proper use of hotel resources.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum 2 3 years of experience in hotel engineering or facility maintenance (hotel experience preferred).
- Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and general maintenance.
- Familiarity with safety standards and emergency procedures.
