Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments including air freight, sea freight, and land transportation.

  • Prepare and review shipping documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, and other import or export documents.

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and logistics providers for shipment bookings and transportation arrangements.

  • Track shipments from supplier origin to final destination and provide regular updates to procurement, projects, and management teams.

  • Coordinate with Saudi customs brokers to ensure smooth customs clearance and compliance with regulations.

  • Manage SABER registration and product conformity documentation for imported goods when required.

  • Ensure compliance with Saudi customs regulations, import procedures, and company policies.

  • Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for receiving, unloading, inspection, and dispatch of materials and equipment.

  • Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve delays, clearance issues, or documentation discrepancies.

  • Review freight quotations and logistics invoices to ensure cost control and accuracy.

  • Maintain accurate records of shipment documentation, customs clearance documents, and logistics transactions.

  • Support procurement and supply chain teams in planning shipment schedules for materials and equipment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures and freight forwarding operations.

  • Familiarity with Saudi customs regulations and import clearance procedures.

  • Experience with SABER platform and SASO product conformity requirements is preferred.

  • Understanding of shipping documentation and international trade compliance.

  • Strong coordination and communication skills with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain coordination.

  • Experience with ERP systems is preferred.

  • Familiarity with local and international shipping regulations.
