Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Site Management Supervise and coordinate daily site activities related to furniture joinery works. Ensure proper execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines. Monitor labor, subcontractors, and material usage to avoid delays and wastage. 2. Quality Control Inspect joinery work at various stages to ensure high-quality finishes. Ensure proper installation of furniture, fixtures, and fittings as per design. Report and rectify any defects or non-compliance immediately. 3. Coordination & Communication Act as the key point of contact between site team, project manager, and office staff. Coordinate with designers, engineers, and subcontractors for smooth workflow. Provide regular progress updates and site reports to management. 4. Safety & Compliance Ensure workers follow health, safety, and environmental guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe site environment. Enforce compliance with company policies and local regulations. 5. Resource Management Track and manage site materials, tools, and equipment. Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and attendance logs. Highlight additional material requirements in advance to avoid site stoppages. 6. Problem Solving Resolve on-site technical issues related to joinery installation. Suggest practical solutions to improve efficiency and reduce rework. Escalate major issues to project manager promptly.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Diploma/School, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (preferred but not mandatory if strong experience in joinery). Experience: 3–7 years of proven experience in supervising furniture/joinery/interior fit-out projects. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of joinery materials, furniture installation, and finishing works. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and specifications. Skills: Excellent site supervision and team management skills. Strong communication and coordination abilities with subcontractors and clients. Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail. Basic knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements. Other Requirements: Willingness to work at project sites with flexibility in working hours. Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and quality orientation. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
