Roles & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Campaign Rollout & Lifecycle Management
    • Own and execute SME card campaigns across the full lifecycle, including:
    • Acquisition: New SME cardholder acquisition campaigns (pre-approved, targeted, digital, RM-led)
    • Activation: First transaction and early-life activation programs
    • Spend Growth: e-commerce (e-MoB), POS and cross-border (XB) spend stimulation campaigns
    • Reactivation: Dormant and low-usage customer re-engagement
    • Retention: Ongoing usage, loyalty, and portfolio stabilization initiatives
    • Coordinate with sales, product, digital, operations, and vendors to ensure timely and compliant rollout.
  • Campaign Analytics & Performance Tracking
    • Track and analyse campaign performance across key KPIs:
    • Acquisition volumes, Activation rates, Spend uplift (domestic, e-commerce, cross-border), Reactivation and retention rates
    • ROI and cost-to-serve
    • Develop campaign dashboards and regular performance reports
    • Present results and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Campaign Construct & Business Case Development
    • Define campaign structure, including:
    • Target segments, Campaign duration and phasing, offer mechanics (cashback, fee waivers, spend thresholds, rewards) and Channel mix (digital, RM-led, partnerships)
    • Develop campaign creatives in collaboration with marketing (messaging, customer journeys, creatives)
    • Build campaign business cases, including:
    • Expected uplift and incremental revenue, Cost assumptions, Break-even and ROI analysis
    • Develop internal sales incentive contest for sales agents and track the outcomes
  • Campaign Launch, Governance & Reporting
    • Lead campaign launch readiness:
    • Internal approvals, System setup and control, Sales, and RM enablement
    • Monitor live campaigns, manage issues, and drive mid-campaign optimization
    • Own campaign reporting construct, including:
    • Weekly/monthly performance updates, post-campaign reviews, and learnings
    • Recommendations for scale or refinement
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • 8 plus years' experience in cards, payments, SME banking, or campaign management
    • Strong understanding of SME card products (credit, charge, prepaid)
    • Hands-on experience running data-driven marketing or spend campaigns
    • Strong analytical and business case development skills
    • Experience with dashboards, reporting tools, and performance tracking
    • Excellent stakeholder management and execution capability

Desired Candidate Profile

Mandatory Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Previous experience within Banking, Digital Payment & Card solutions, or the FinTech industry.
  • Regional experience across the GCC, including working in a faced-paced matrix organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) in English; fluency in Arabic preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • The ability to analyse data, troubleshoot payment issues, optimize processes, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Good understanding of payment systems, digital platforms, system workflows, security basics, and industry technologies.
  • An understanding of regional regulations across financial services or payment networks.
