Roles & Responsibilities
We are a digital marketing agency and we require an experienced social media manager to ensure our customers are satisfied with the results we bring them, and you as the social media manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to enhance their digital performance. You will be responsible for managing and growing our clients' social media channels.
Desired Candidate Profile
Key Responsibilities
○ Develop, manage and implement daily, weekly, and monthly social media strategies to boost brand visibility, engagement, and audience growth.
○ Aligns on the communication goals with Marketing Manager and Creative Marketing Specialists, and presents an appropriate strategy to best get the message across on social media.
○ Creates and maintains social media content calendar (supporting the Brand’s content pillars and guidelines).
○ Gains approval, schedules and publishes.
○ Monitors community feedback in real-time, drives regular engagement with public interaction with the support of the community management team.
○ Sources unique brand and customer industry related content (posts, photos, videos, infographics); sources and leverages quality User Generated Content in social amplification efforts and ensures usage rights for all materials.
○ Ensures brand positioning and voice are fully adhered through social communications
○ Maintains current knowledge of all ongoing campaigns, events and projects and stays on top of communicating relevant topics on social channels.
○ Incorporates Social Strategy into the brand marketing plans in support of the brands’ sales strategy.
○ Produces and distributes monthly social analytics report, share key drivers of positive or negative trends, and tracks progress.
○ Update and optimize social media bios, ensuring they reflect current campaigns, events, and links.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills – Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- High-level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
- Proficiency in Facebook Ad Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, and HubSpot’s Social Inbox.
- Understanding of the business applications of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, and others.
- Bonus experience and skills include Hootsuite, video editing, demand generation marketing, inbound marketing, SEM, and familiarity with HTML and marketing automation systems.
