Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring clear communication with development teams.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on software usability.
  • Conduct performance and stress testing to assess system behavior under various loads and conditions.
  • Automate repetitive test cases using industry-standard testing frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to write clear and concise test plans and test cases based on requirements and user stories.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and suggest improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate issues and collaborate with team members.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for quality assurance and thorough testing.
