Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support the Chef de Cuisine in planning menus, recipes, and production schedules.
- Lead, motivate, and train junior kitchen staff to maintain a culture of excellence.
- Maintain proper hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards in all kitchen areas.
- Monitor inventory levels, food costs, and waste control to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
- Collaborate with the restaurant management and service teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.
- Oversee kitchen maintenance and ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Manage staff scheduling, discipline, and performance appraisals as required.
- Contribute to new menu development and continuous culinary innovation.

Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or Catering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a 5-star international hotel or fine-dining restaurant.
- At least 1 2 years in a Sous Chef or similar leadership position.
- Expertise in Asian and contemporary cuisine preferred.
- Strong understanding of HACCP, kitchen management, and operational controls.
- Proven ability to manage diverse teams and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Passionate about culinary excellence and guest satisfaction.
