Roles & Responsibilities

OVERVIEW / BASIC FUNCTION

  • The Spa Attendant ensures the highest level of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest care throughout the Asaya Spa & Wellness areas. The role supports Spa Therapists and Receptionists by maintaining an immaculate environment, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring guests experience seamless luxury and personalized service aligned with Rosewood s philosophy of A Sense of Place .

u>Key Responsibilities/u>

  • Warmly welcome guests to the Asaya Spa, providing discreet and intuitive service throughout their visit.
  • Escort guests to treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and facilities, ensuring comfort and privacy.
  • Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Prepare and reset treatment rooms before and after each session, ensuring all amenities, linens, and equipment are in pristine condition.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas including locker rooms, wet areas, relaxation lounges, and corridors.
  • Replenish supplies such as towels, water, amenities, and refreshments throughout the day.
  • Support Therapists and Spa Reception in operational tasks and guest flow management.
  • Adhere to all hygiene, sanitization, and safety standards as per Rosewood and local authority requirements.
  • Regularly check and record temperature, humidity, and chemical levels in wet areas such as saunas, steam rooms, and plunge pools.
  • Report maintenance or safety issues immediately to the Spa Manager or Engineering team.

u>Qualifications & Experience/u>

  • Previous experience in luxury spa, wellness, or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of hygiene and cleaning standards in spa or fitness facilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
  • Professional appearance, grooming, and interpersonal skills reflective of a luxury brand.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
