Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a professional and vibrant Spa Receptionist to join our wellness team. As the first point of contact for spa clients, the ideal candidate will possess a warm demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Spa Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service, from the moment they book an appointment until they leave the spa's serene environment. Your role as a Spa Receptionist will also involve promoting spa services, handling client inquiries, and maintaining the presentation of the reception area. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients as they arrive at the spa facility.
- Schedule and confirm spa appointments via phone, email, or in person.
- Inform clients of available spa services and treatments offered.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the reception area at all times.
- Answer client inquiries and provide information about spa policies and procedures.
- Manage point-of-sale transactions and accurately handle cash and credit card payments.
- Ensure client information is up to date by maintaining accurate records.
- Promote spa services and sales of products offered within the spa.
- Coordinate with spa therapists to ensure timely preparation for upcoming appointments.
- Resolve any client issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Stock and replenish reception area supplies, including brochures and product samples.
- Assist management with administrative tasks and reports as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
- Minimum of one year experience in a customer service role is preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office suite is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently is essential.
- Friendly and professional demeanor with a passion for client satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as spa hours require.
