Global Care Hospital is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Specialist / Consultant General Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary surgical team. The selected candidate will be responsible for diagnosing surgical conditions, performing operative procedures, and delivering comprehensive pre- and post-operative care in line with the hospital s commitment to excellence in patient outcomes.br> br>Key Responsibilities:br>Perform general surgical procedures such as appendectomies, hernia repairs, cholecystectomies, and minor to complex abdominal surgeriesbr>Evaluate patients through physical exams, diagnostic imaging, and lab testsbr>Conduct pre-operative consultations and obtain informed consentbr>Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery progressbr>Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgical nurses, and other healthcare providersbr>Ensure all patient documentation is completed accurately in the hospital's electronic systembr>Participate in clinical audits, training, and continuous improvement programsbr>Uphold high standards of patient safety, hygiene, and surgical protocolbr>Adhere to Global Care Hospital s medical guidelines and ethical standardsbr> br>Qualifications & Experience:br>MBBS with a Master s or Doctorate in General Surgery (e.g., MS, FRCS, or equivalent)br>Valid MOH/DHA/HAAD license or eligibility to practice in the UAEbr>Specialist: Minimum 5 7 years of experience in general surgerybr>Consultant: Minimum 10 years of post-specialization surgical experiencebr>Experience in laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures is an advantage
