Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level critical care to patients with life-threatening illnesses or injuries, utilizing advanced monitoring and therapeutic interventions.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists, to deliver optimal patient care in the ICU.
  • Make critical decisions regarding patient management, including diagnosis, treatment plans, and the use of life support systems, ensuring ethical and evidence-based practices.
  • Perform complex procedures such as central line placement, intubation, and bronchoscopy, with precision and proficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in medical science.
  • Hold board certification in Critical Care Medicine from a recognized medical board, showcasing expertise and commitment to the specialty.
  • Have completed a residency in Internal Medicine or Anesthesiology, followed by a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine, ensuring comprehensive training.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing as a Specialist Critical Care Physician, with demonstrated proficiency in managing critically ill patients.
