You ll participate in GO/NO-GO decisions and raise alerts when necessary, ensuring that the knowledge base and training materials including Jive and the known error database are consistently updated and accessible in a structured, centralized location. By anticipating knowledge gaps and proposing action plans for continuous improvement, you ll help maintain efficiency and stability in production, all while adhering to best practices and adapting to autonomous feature teams. Your responsibilities also include understanding proposed solutions, identifying configuration tasks, and gathering implementation requirements. You must have hands-on experience deploying SMAX and its components, integrating them across Windows and Linux environments, and providing SMAX application administration, tailoring, and L2/L3 support. Experience with Micro Focus SMAX, Open Text Asset Management (AMx), and other ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow is essential, along with working knowledge of importing data, configuring workflow rules, notifications, approval definitions, custom actions, and creating custom tables, fields, and forms. Skills in PostgreSQL, REST API, installation and integration using OPB, Java Scripting, Python scripting, and troubleshooting SMAX integrations including Integration Hub and On Premises Bridge Agent are also required, ensuring robust and effective service management automation.ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities Must have the ability to understand proposed solutions and identify tasks for configurations.Must have the ability to gather requirements for implementations.Must have hands-on experience in full deployment of SMAX and its components along with its integration both on Windows and LinuxMinimum of 4-5 years working experience on Micro Focus Service Management Automation X (SMAX), Open Text Asset Management (AMx) and other ITSMs like ServiceNow etc.Experienced in SMAX application administration, tailoring, and L2/L3 level support for internal or external users, experience working with Micro Focus SMAX R&D on applying hot fixes for fixing L3 issues would be an added advantage.Working knowledge on Importing Data, configuring -- workflow rules, notifications, Approval definitions, custom actions, creating custom tables, fields, forms.Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and REST API, Installation and Integration using OPBAble to write and trouble shoot Java Scripting/Python scripts.Trouble shooting SMAX integrations Integration Hub, On Premises Bridge Agent etc.Must have the ability to create document sets like Implementation and Configuration Guide, SOP, RCA, Health Checklist, Training Manuals and User GuidesMust be a specialist in integrations such as OPTIC, Integration Hub, UCMDB, OMI, AM, LDAP, Email (Inbound and Outbound)Must have knowledge in integration using Web services (SOAP and RESTAPI)Must have specialized skills on JavaScript's, Basic's and SQL Queries and use them in SM implementation.Must have hands on experience on using upgrade utility and handling upgrades (Minimum 1 Full upgrade project)Must have hands on experience on implementing SSL and SSOMust be a specialist in configuring using Process Designer, JavaScript, Document engine, SMIS, Web services, Triggers, Wizards, Macros, Format, Format Control, Links, Display Option and Display ScreensMust understand Infrastructure and Network components and their work.Must be Certified in ITIL foundation V3 and SM 9.X/SMAX SoftwareGood to have the ability to consult, suggest and propose best practices in SM and SMAX and its integration.Good to have the Ability to Create UAT, QA Test, PIV Test and Regression Test plan/cases.Good to have the ability to create and review HLD and LLD with required architecture diagrams.Good to have the ability to suggest, propose, and execute Performance upgrades and SIP for new and existing customers.Good to have the ability to suggest, propose and implement automated health checks, Monitoring and SOPGood to have the knowledge on MF Stacks of tools (HPE and MF) and ability to understand the integration possibilities with each of them.Good to have knowledge on Dockers and Kubernetes, their work and components.Good to understand in-house RAD applications (both understanding the application and how to call them in various tailoring/customizations)Good to be Certified in other MF Products Standards and Regulatory RequirementsQualificationsRequired skills / qualificationsProven experience with service manager/SMAX, service mapping & CMDB, event management, Operations OrchestratorExperienced in SMAX application administration, tailoring, and L2/L3 level support for internal or external users, experience working with Micro Focus SMAX R&D on applying hot fixes for fixing L3 issues would be an added advantage.Any ITSM Tool Automation Suite, Operations Bridge, Network Operations Management Suite, Universal DiscoveryStrong understanding of ITILMust be Certified in ITIL foundation V4 or SM 9.X/SMAX SoftwareStrong understanding of Open Text OPTIC DL.Strong understanding of MS SQL Server.Strong understanding of Oracle DB.Strong understanding of Network and Security advanced knowledge.Knowledge of Automation orchestration ToolsKnowledge of operating systems is desirable (Windows, Linux, and UNIX platforms ideally)Experience working with stakeholders and IT suppliers.Knowledge of various industry verticalsKnowledge of IT governance and operationsProject and program management planning and organizational skillsSound knowledge and experience with tools like PowerPoint, Word, MS Project, Visio etc.Knowledge of the global market and technology trends and drivers to provide enterprise-wide direction and guidance.Knowledge of product domain, relevant technologies and the development processes to develop an overall system view of the client environment.What Working At Core42 OffersWith a diverse team of 1,100+ employees from 68 nationalities,
