Sr. Engineer – Procurement / Assistant Manager – Procurement AL HAJIRY TRADING CO. LLC

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement professional to manage sourcing, vendor coordination, and procurement operations for civil construction projects. The ideal candidate must have prior work experience in Oman and strong knowledge of local market practices, suppliers, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for civil construction projects

• Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers within Oman

• Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations, and negotiate pricing and contract terms

• Ensure timely procurement of materials in line with project schedules

• Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams for material requirements

• Maintain vendor database and develop strong supplier relationships

• Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations

• Monitor market trends, material costs, and supplier performance

• Handle purchase orders, contracts, and documentation

• Support cost control and budgeting activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field

• 8–15 years of experience in procurement within civil construction projects

• Mandatory: Prior work experience in Oman ,

• Strong knowledge of local suppliers, subcontractors, and procurement processes

• Good negotiation and vendor management skills
