Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the stewarding department, ensuring all cleaning and maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and mentor staff in best practices for cleanliness and sanitation, fostering a culture of excellence in service and hygiene.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dining areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, addressing any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to manage inventory and ensure the availability of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a stewarding or kitchen environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation practices, such as ServSafe, to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Experience in managing diverse teams, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate staff from various backgrounds.
