Roles & Responsibilities
About the Role: As a Stewarding Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of all kitchens and stewarding areas across the resort. From pre-opening setup to daily operations, you will lead a team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency, supporting both culinary and service teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Opening Support:
- Assist in setting up stewarding areas, including dishwashing stations and storage zones.
- Conduct equipment inventory and implement stewarding procedures.
Daily Operations:
- Supervise stewarding staff to ensure proper cleaning, sanitizing, and storage of kitchen tools, dishes, and equipment.
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with HACCP and Four Seasons protocols.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and stewarding equipment; conduct regular stock checks.
Team Leadership:
- Train, schedule, and motivate stewarding team members to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Foster a culture of safety, cleanliness, and teamwork.
Coordination:
- Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure smooth operations across all food and beverage outlets.
- Support banquet and event setups with stewarding logistics.
Knowledge and Skills:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Previous experience in stewarding or kitchen operations preferred; supervisory experience is an asset.
- Ability to operate and maintain dishwashing machines, floor cleaning equipment, and silver burnishers.
- Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school education or equivalent. Previous experience in stewarding or kitchen operations preferred; supervisory experience is an asset. Ability to operate and maintain dishwashing machines, floor cleaning equipment, and silver burnishers. Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards. Effective communication and leadership skills.
