Position Overview

The Queen Elizabeth II Hotel in Dubai is hiring a Stewarding Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations, hygiene standards, and food safety compliance across all F&B areas. Core Duties


* Supervise cleaning processes and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in F&B areas
* Organize and maintain cleanliness of all storage areas, including shelves, chillers, and freezers
* Monitor and record storage temperatures, promptly reporting any irregularities to Engineering and the Chief Steward
* Adhere strictly to HACCP procedures to safeguard food safety and quality
* Support the issuing of food items to F&B outlets and kitchens based on authorized requisitions
* Oversee cleaning staff, ensuring correct use of equipment and chemicals
* Maintain proper documentation for hygiene inspections and daily operations
* Report activities, incidents, and updates to the Chief Steward on a regular basis

Candidate Profile

* Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality is required
* High school diploma or equivalent; food safety or hospitality certifications are an advantage
* Strong understanding of HACCP principles, sanitation practices, and hygiene compliance
* Knowledge of cleaning processes, equipment, and safe chemical usage
* Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Physically fit to handle tasks involving standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift
* Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-demand operations
* Familiarity with inventory management and record-keeping procedures
