Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Store Keeper will be responsible for receiving, issuing, and maintaining records of construction materials, tools, and equipment at the site. The role ensures proper stock control, documentation, and timely distribution of materials required for site works.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and verify incoming materials and tools
- Maintain proper record of items issued and returned
- Issue materials to site staff as per approved requests
- Ensure minimum stock levels and raise purchase requests when required
- Update stock registers and inventory software daily
- Monitor material usage at site to reduce wastage
- Keep the store clean, organized, and safe
- Coordinate with purchase department and suppliers
- Conduct periodic stock audits
- Store material as per company standards and safety norms
Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate / Diploma
Knowledge of construction materials and consumables
Basic computer skills (Excel, MS Office)
Good communication and coordination skills
Inventory management knowledge
Ability to handle pressure and site workload
