Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Store Keeper / In-Charge is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of materials to ensure accurate inventory control and smooth project operations.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials as per company procedures.
Maintain accurate inventory records in manual registers and ERP systems.
Issue materials to workshops, production teams, and project sites in a timely manner.
Conduct stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation to prevent shortages or excess.
Ensure proper storage conditions to safeguard materials from damage or loss.
Support logistics, shipping, and material dispatch activities.
Coordinate with Procurement, Projects, and QA/QC teams to ensure material availability and compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Key Skills & Competencies
Inventory management and ERP system knowledge
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Attention to detail in quantity and specification verification
Familiarity with MRR, GRN, issue slips, and stock reports
Basic IT proficiency (MS Excel, ERP systems)
Effective coordination and communication skills
Experience & Qualifications
2–5 years’ experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in EPC, Oil & Gas, or construction projects
Familiarity with industrial materials (ASME/API/ABS/DNV standards preferred)
High school diploma or relevant technical certification
Knowledge of safety standards and warehouse best practices
