Storeman EMIRATES GLOBAL ALUMINIUM (EGA)

JOB PURPOSE:
To perform warehouse activities relating to the physical handling of goods and physical stock take of materials; and to carry out receiving and issuing services to all areas in Emirates Global Aluminium (“EGA”) in accordance with departmental objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Receiving
Receives the correct item in the correct quantity as specified in the Purchase Order and/or Material Master Catalogue in SAP using hand-held scanners.
Assists the Senior Storeman in keying the Goods Receiving Note (“GRN”).
Prints barcode labels and labels materials received.

Issuing
Issues or delivers promptly the correct quantity to the correct location utilizing handheld scanners during the process.
Follows the first-in-first-out (FIFO) procedure and checks the validity of dated products and serialisation, if applicable.
Records issues accurately in the SAP system.
Dispatches the correct item to the appropriate locations or departments.

Material Maintenance
Ensures goods are clearly and accurately barcode-labelled for identification and takes extra precautions as necessary. Ensures goods are properly and safely stored at the correct location with the appropriate barcode and bin labels.

Safety, Quality and Environment
Complies with all relevant EHS policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
